Gary Buonacorsi has nearly two decades of experience in the IT industry as a transformational leader for government agencies and Fortune 500 companies. As Unisys’ Public Sector Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Gary is responsible for thought leadership in the public sector, state and local business strategy, and guiding customer security and operations transformations. Additionally, he defines long-term goals for the state and local government vertical, builds key customer relationships, leads industry discussions, and conducts conference keynotes and seminars.
Prior to Unisys, Gary served as the field CTO and enterprise architect for ServiceNow’s state, local and education (SLED) vertical. He has also been the SLED CIO for Tanium and Dell Technologies. Additionally, Gary’s career includes positions as CIO for the Texas Attorney General, as well as the CTO for the State of Nevada Central IT organization and a Nevada Human Services Department CIO. He has also held senior director and managerial roles at Dell-EMC, Oracle and Merck-Medco.
